Lately Mondays have become the best day of my week. They are known rather fondly as making mondays. Sometimes things get achieved and my head is laptop bound from morning into the night. Often at Battenburg Press headquarters we talk ideas and books, trips and hearts, baking and layouts. The term is now over and Mondays will change. I'll miss them and try to shape some making fridays with as much commitment to the week ahead as can be mustered on a Friday.

Brooklyn LIGHT

I remember this soft, magical early evening light, but not from last spring here, but from those cold, bright brooding Brooklyn nights. It's light fantastic and each day I still miss it. Getting a fix of there here.
